Kim Ho Quick Summary of Tarion’s Training:
Tarion’s trains one week with the elderly Ouse, who teaches him quite a bit about uses his looks to the best effect (whether that be avoiding attention or attracting that of those with too much money and too little judgment). She never really warms up too much, but is a competent teacher.
One day during training, Garthrum drops in and watches Ouse’s lessons. He speaks briefly with Tarion during a break, asking that the elf keep his eyes open if he finds himself in Vargen anytime soon — paying particular attention if anything about a new hallucinogen competing with the Mad Dogs’ “Dog Froth” comes up. He promises a generous reward for any information about the origins of this new drug.
