FYI – I plan to play Zho Ni more like the PHB description (religious order of knights) vs ecclesiastical bureaucrat. Does that work in this setting?
Yep. Stick to medieval/viking-style tech really. I plan on dropping you all more information for each of your characters as stuff gets solidfied, so you have the character knowledge at least.
Religious Knight works great for this setting.
