  1. Both Chuq’s ideas, just like the suggestion we tie up Derich before opening the outer doors!

Seriously, who’s is higher? Chuq’s 15 WIS or Derich’s WIS?

On another note, let’s assess what we know what we have to do:

    1. Overcome/bypass the spinning walkway

    2. Slip past an undoubtedly activated giant Autonatom

    3. Shimmy up an ascending rope suspended over the gap in the northern bridge

    4. Negotiate the portal room with all but one shutter open for the energy cannons

    5. Dodge the wall gargoyles (think it was 7 at last count) so we don’t plummet to the desynch field below.

    6. Not sure but there should be another giant autonatom guarding the antechamber of the administrator’s office.

    7. Access the controls in the admin’s desk and cancel the lock down.

This is assuming the S & E giant autonatom’s stay put!

    Here are my two tactics:

Thorfus surrenders the correct admin PASKEY to Chuq/Edan, we go dark elf stealth and shadow step our way through the obstacles OR Thurfus gives the admin PASKEY to an monkey which might ceiling climb it’s way.

However we proceed, Chuq wants Derich and Prix to stay right where they are and the anti virus sphere destroyed/wiped clean.

Best yet, since Prix is the means of the anti-virus solution, he’d rather see her dead. Might as well just escape to engineering and blow the hole thing from orbit. “Only way to be sure”, right Ripley?

  2. If the Automatons are activated, can Thorfus not take control of them?

I believe it’s 6 Gargoyles, Derich definitely Held two of them. And I think we only have two cannon shutters open also.

Shadowstep and Monkey climbing seem like the best bets, whether Thorfus can control the automatons or not.

(Still kinda want a Deus Ex Drachina, but you know, consequences.)

  3. Clarification on levitate spell (since this came up last time): the range is 20′ per level in terms of who you can cast it on; you can move 20′ per round, though, and it lasts one turn per level. A fourth level mage could theoretically move 800′ using the spell on himself.
