That was super late! Sorry that I forgot to post this last week.
Any thoughts on Edan being able to tone-down/control the glowing eyes thing?
Alessandro Bertolucci: Yes, with concentration (and when not casting spells), Edan can mask the glowing effectively in daylight conditions. At night or in darkness, though, they still give off a faint glow at a minimum.
Edan can build a space ship but not sunglasses?
and if he figures it out a whole set of mirrored glasses would be useful.
Well, that’s a whole different kettle of fish … the limiting factor there would be access to appropriate materials and tools.
Nah – he just needs a good glass maker to make sunglasses. They were manufacturing them in the 19th century for eye protection while forging but really didn’t become what we know until the 20th. Sine Edan is a fashion conscious fellow he’d probably figure it out. 😉
