  1. John Carlson can Kauri determine the strength of the Enchanted Platemail compared to that of Edan’s Chainmail or Bav’s Drow armor?

    Do we have to use weapons in anger to earn XP? For example, before we camp for the night suppose Bav or Nash dons the enchanted platemail then trains with Estrill armed with the enchanted longsword using subdual combat rules. Would this scenario count as USE?

    Thematically it could make sense that our characters would want to test out the new merchandise under relatively safer conditions before deciding to keep or not.

  2. Rahm Benisaeko: Kauri wouldn’t be able to say with any precision given the mental condition of the platemail’s DVL. Regarding testing weapons and armor, that’s fine; however, it won’t help in terms of XP awards. While the presence of anger doesn’t matter, risk does. You don’t get XP for LARPing.
