SESSION 45 – August 5, 2018
We finally finish off the last wooly rhino and the goblin shaman and all but 3 goblin archers, who flee.
Zho Ni heals Ygritte to get her on her feet, and heals up others the best he can. He also casts the blessed meal to boost our ability to withstand a hit.
Otiben, Batukhan, and Puk & Hades climb up onto the aquaduct and Puk & Hades stay where they can keep an eye out for trouble to go alert the others.
Otiben and Batukhan get a good look at the citadel and there is no easy way to get over the walls. Otiben climbs down and slips and falls into a cavern and determines that it probably leads into the sewers under the citadel. They return to the tunnel and tell the rest of the party.
We leave Ygritte, all the dogs, and the unconscious body guards of Urman and help them close the doors and we helped position the bar so that Ygritte could put it into place, after agreeing on a signal to get them to open when we return.
Otiben sent Gunnar to go get the orcs for some of them to reinforce Ygritte.
Urman, Puk, Zho Ni, and Embrek, follow Otiben and Zho Ni, using the canoe they found to get to the opening.
We descended and followed the sewers, and some foul smelling beast that lives in the sewers lashed out and attacked.
We did a little damage to it.
It grabbed Embrek and bit Batukhan, whose leg burns with the infection from whatever dread disease it carries.
Urman used the Force Band ring to push the creature back against the wall. Embrek broke free and more damage was done.
Zho Ni cast prayer to improve our odds.
Urman was having none of this, and used the Force band to put up 3 walls of force, leaving 3 charges (it re-charges 1 charge per day.) Having trapped the creature, but its tentacles still flailing at us, Urman urged his companions to flee and worry about this creature, The Seer must be stopped!
