Link to Axel’s Adventure — Word Document

Since it seems like only Antony and I could access the original posts with all their replies, I have copied those into a Word document (see link below). I have also deleted the other posts since they only told (less than) half the story.

  1. Bring em on, we’ll show them a thing or two!

Seriously, the Dark King and his cadre are Ancient Dwarves souls jarred (?) Into Islander (or underdark human) bodies. I wonder if there is a physical artifact like a piece of jewelry or the crowns and helmets effecting the possession or if it’s the same method the would have allowed Kalgunn to inhabit the pill. Edan, put the question to the sword please.

Regardless of his answer, Chuq’s paranoia convinces him that that is what has happened to Thornton. We’ve seen undying and orbital observation of Midmark. Like a face dancer infiltration, Thornton and the GCs would be a good choice for initial cooption. Next, the Admirilty, Council and the Churches.

If Axel tells Chuq of the Silver Thrones, he’ll ask the Night Court what they know of them.

My gut tells me the Mad Lord is either the Dragon Emperor or an as yet to be met Ancient Dwarven soul.

Shame Axel didn’t get to know the Islander warriors. I’m curious if they are sympathetic or possessed humans.

What’s your gut feeling about Moysant, Antony Nicklin? Is he an Ancient Dwarven soul or a sympathetic Islander or under dark human? I suppose the fact he had an extra connection to Xen Tel precludes the human option…

  2. Everything above I basically relayed to the entire party in the talk we had when Axel arrived at the Cock and Bull. The Twelve Lords of the Silver Thrones were mentioned in amongst all that.

Moysant is not our friend. He is amicable enough whilst working to a common goal, but as he said, if it weren’t for the fact he’d like to keep the world around, he turn Axel into an Undying himself. He’s an Islander with a connection to Xeno’Tel. Whether he was corrupted or otherwise doesn’t really matter.

  3. He already was in a priveleged place. He was the ‘Eyes of Xeno’Tel’ and had given up his actually eyes to become so.

Outside of that, I don’t know, everything Axel learned is in the write up, and so unless there’s information that would’ve been obvious to Axel without me having to ask, that’s the full extent of my knowledge.

Moysant is likely dead now anyway, so it’s moot, but he does have a counterpart (The Ears of Xeno’Tel), and there maybe more in his order. Also, as far as I know, outside of the Dark King himself (who is some Lord Marshall Dwarf), all of that faction is human.

  4. Perhaps I am misunderstood. My theory is that the Dark King and Illske are human bodies possessed by Ancient Dwarven souls, and one of them was an Ancient Dwarven Lord Marshal.

My question to you was : do you suppose the same was true for Moysant? ( i think yes, since he would have fated you to undying) If not, then some how/why Islanders are choosing to side with the Dark King against their own kind to make undying and massacre whole villages.

  5. No I got where you were coming from. I just believe that it’s only the Dark King and maybe some higher ranked followers ars dwarfs (at least in soul).

Everyone else, Moysant and Illske included, are corrupted humans. Maybe they were evil, maybe they were charmed. Perhaps it started off as just a single warlike tribe and snowballed.

Illske’s force was part human, but mostly Undying. To my mind, those that don’t submit get their brains submit, rather than hosting an ancient dwarf.

I feel like dwarf souls on Meidia are in the minority, a few high ranking types like Kalgunn/Marchmain/Dark King. All the rest are locked on the Space Station with Xeno’Tel, amd are inaccesible but for ESP/Marchmain shenanigans.

    But, you may be right.
